The Maw Civil Group was established under its current ownership in February 2000 and absorbed the activities, employees and physical resources of T W Maw & Sons Pty Ltd and Japco Pty Ltd.
The company hence has a lengthy history spanning over 50 years, in construction activities on the Mornington Peninsula with broad experience in sub divisions (residential and commercial), golf course construction, marina construction, road construction, environmental projects, local government and general bulk earthworks and infrastructure maintenance.
Maw Civil is recognised for its marine works having constructed boat ramps and revetment walls at Safety Beach, Tyrone Beach and Sorrento and breakwater marinas at Martha Cove- Safety Beach and Newhaven- Phillip Island.
The MC Earthmoving arm of the group has embarked on large mining support projects, commercial site establishment and similar projects and is now well established in the Bulk Earthmoving industry.
The company has recently built its own dedicated dredge which is supported by a fleet of workboats and currently enjoys continuing dredging contracts.
We are located at 7-9 Brasser Avenue in the Dromana Industrial Estate and at Bray St Hastings. The business operates principally on the Mornington Peninsula and in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne but has also geared up to perform on more distant projects such as Cobar NSW, San Remo, Leongatha and Ballarat.
All entities are ISO certified and fully committed to the procedures and controls of OH&S ISO 18001, Environmental ISO 14001 and Quality ISO 9001. This certification and its independent audit process, empowers us to continually improve and modernise the company in our quest to deliver a superior product.
